Global Medical Projects are specialists in arranging worthwhile medical work experience placements (abroad) for pre-university students, students in their vacation, students on their electives and qualified medical personnel.

Global Medical Projects is as much about learning as it is about giving. Our work experience programmes are designed to incorporate learning the local language and something about the local culture. All our programmes include, where applicable basic language courses as well as ‘culture’ courses. This may be drumming in Ghana, Yoga in India or learning Swahili in Tanzania.

Through the contacts we’ve established over the years, we can offer a wide range of projects; medicine, nursing, physiotherapy and dentistry placements are the most popular, but we also uniquely offer opportunities in radiography and emergency medicine, offering the opportunity to work with paramedics and emergency clinics in Mexico.

Global Medical Projects is part of the Global Volunteer Projects family which means that your medical work placement can also be combined with a volunteer project in the local community.
